Transit Alternatives: This list was established in 1994 to provide a place where discussions of innovative transportation topics can take place. It is international in scope, unmoderated and everyone is welcome to subscribe and participate. The list name is Transit-Alternatives but postings regarding all forms of ground transportation are welcome. Information about how to subscribe (and unsubscribe) is given below. eunitrans: EUropean Network for Innovative Transit (eunitrans) is an unmoderated mailing list promoting co-operation among European initiatives in innovative advanced transportation, especially related to PRT - personal rapid transit: Automated, flexible and network oriented personal transportation systems. nonitrans: NOrdic Network for Innovative Transit ( nonitrans ) is an unmoderated mailing list promoting co-operation among Nordic / Scandinavian initiatives in innovative advanced transportation, especially related to PRT - personal rapid transit: Automated, flexible and network oriented personal transportation systems. (PRT is generally automated, electric cars running on elevated guidelines or tracks) The working language is mainly Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian etc.).
